Yesterday on our tour, I think the guide mentioned a correlation between Brush Creek and the state of the area around it in socioeconomic terms, particularly the sort of high end quality in the plaza area, and how this slowly changes as you travel farther down the watershed. Id like to know more about this, and if the river actually has any kind of effect on the community in this way. If so, how?

Warm evening light sliced through the shadows beneath the cold concrete of the bridge, bouncing off a rippling pool and dancing on the walls. It was the peaceful power of the place that really interested me. The bold diagonals and contrast created by the shadows, the surface of the rocks and concrete, and the delicate movement of the water had a simple and almost abstract quality to it.
